The 2s enjoyed a very good start to 2012 with an impressive 66-12 victory away at Yatton.
A few of the newer faces at the club put in impressive performances and new combinations were in place across the pitch. Our scrum dominated and the forwards cleared rucks quickly and effectively. There were slick hands and fast feet from the back as well as a good tactical kicking game down a steep slope.
We ran in 10 tries including a length of the pitch team score finished up the hill by Alex Curry after several neat offloads between forwards and backs. Mark Furze scored a hat trick and Andy Buscombe dominated the lineout. A very good team performance and a very enjoyable game.
